Donated Car
Donated Car or the Feel Better Kids Vehicle Donation Program (the name which was changed mid-way through the project) is an organization that accepts car donations for terminally ill or disabled children. The donations helps to cover the medical expenses for the children. My job was to help create the website from scratch and to create a donation form.
The site is very small, and I was actually not that happy about the final turnout (which is why I am in the process of redesigning it already).
I hope that I will eventually get around to completing the redesigned site since it is for such a good cause.
This site was built when I finally started to participate in the standards movement. It is built much more semantically than my previous sites with valid CSS and XHTML.
The one curveball was that I was given the header to drop in well after I had implemented the site, so it looks a little out of place. But I do like the rounded corners of the site, as it gives us a much softer feel.
