MatrixMaxx
MatrixMaxx is the Association Management Software that my company, Matrix Group International offers. Maxx always had a lot of power on the backend, but everything was siloed, and the display was not much to look at. But we finally decided to totally revamp the front-end and make it much more usable for our clients.
We spent a lot of time talking to current users and figuring out what the liked and disliked. There was a long design process with lots of tweaks. Then finally, MatrixMaxx 7.2 was ready to go.
My role in this project was to be involved in the user interviews, helping to decide on the structure, and slicing the site. The slice was definitely challenging because of all of the rounded corners, but don’t worry, I made it bulletproof.
